Communication can be difficult. Especially when you’re not great at reading social cues, or when you really, really want one specific answer from someone.
So what happens when someone is on the fence, and you’re leaning super far in one direction? 🤔
If you push toward the answer you want, the other person is more likely to pull the other way. When people are genuinely unsure, they need space to consider all of their options.
And if they keep saying, “I don’t know?”
Treat it as a no. If you’re not 100% sure you have a yes, you don’t have one.
