Well…we think a few things may have gotten lost in translation.
This week @DrNerdLove and @DrLizPowell hear from a man who feels “gaslit” by modern dating because he thought women wanted men to leave them alone, but now he keeps hearing that women want men to take the lead.
First, “never talk to” was actually more of a “please don’t harass us.” Second, taking the lead doesn't always mean making the first move. It includes texting back with real answers, making plans, engaging, flirting, and showing someone how you’ll show up in a partnership.
